C’est l’histoire d’un vilain petit canard. Un petit canard bien trop bruyant, bien trop démonstratif, qui ne sait pas mener sa vie « comme il faut ».
Il refuse de nager bien sagement dans le rang exclusif de la raison et du savoir objectif de la science, et ne s’en laisse pas non plus conter par les promesses de la religion. Né dans la société occidentale de la fin du XXe siècle, il a dans ces conditions, bien du mal a trouver sa place.
Un jour, le vilain petit canard hystérique rencontra la psychanalyse. Alors, après douze années de lacancanage, il finit par se rendre compte qu’en réalité, ce qui lui donne sa place, c’est qu’il est un signe.
Enfin, non, justement !
En réalité, il est un signifiant.
Un signifiant parlant ! … autrement dit : un sujet.
